My favorite nail salon in Busan: The Beauty

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of getting manicures. I have had them done in the past, but I never feel comfortable with my nails done.

However, I do get a pedicure every summer.

Normally, I get my toes done at the beginning of May, then I get them touched up every four weeks. So, I end up getting around three to four pedicures between May and September each year.

There are a lot of nail salons in Busan, but I will introduce you to my favorite place: The Beauty and explain why I go there.

First, they have a variety of colors and designs to choose from. From pops of color to muted tones, they have it all!

Also, they have what is called the “design book” or “art book” that you can look at for inspiration while you wait.

(There are so many different unique designs and I always have trouble choosing just one!)

Second, they are reasonably priced. A sticker attached next to the “design book” can tell you the price of the look. As you can see, there is a sticker attached to design number five and a sticker next to number six. The sticker next to number five is showing you that the design costs 50,000 won and the sticker next to number six is showing that the nail art costs 60,000 won. Very simple. Once you choose your design, you can change the color of the polish without an upcharge.

In the past, when I went to different nail salons, the artists would upcharge on every small request. The price of pedicure started at 55,000 won and would cost extra if I wanted to substitute a color or change the design.

Lastly, it is in a very convenient area. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Century Building at Kyungsung University. It is only a three minute walk from the third exit at the Kyungsung University & Pukyoung National University subway station.
