BMA to Extend the Period of Takashi Murakami’s Exhibition

World-renowned pop artist, Takashi Murakami’s exhibition at the Busan Museum of Art has received an unprecedented response. Therefore, the BMA has decided to extend its exhibition period by one month, until April 16th.

This exhibition, titled “Takashi Murakami; Murakami Zombie” was originally scheduled to end on March 12th, however, it drew so much attention before the opening. It attracted more than 94,000 visitors between January 26th and March 7th, along with an average of 2,500 visitors on the weekdays and over 4,000 on the weekends.

The exhibition features nearly 170 works made by Takashi Murakami, from some of his early works to his more recent paintings, sculptures, videos and NFT digital works.
