World-renowned pop artist, Takashi Murakami’s exhibition at the Busan Museum of Art has received an unprecedented response. Therefore, the BMA has decided to extend its exhibition period by one month, until April 16^th.

This exhibition, titled “Takashi Murakami; Murakami Zombie” was originally scheduled to end on March 12^th, however, it drew so much attention before the opening. It attracted more than 94,000 visitors between January 26^th and March 7^th, along with an average of 2,500 visitors on the weekdays and over 4,000 on the weekends.

The exhibition features nearly 170 works made by Takashi Murakami, from some of his early works to his more recent paintings, sculptures, videos and NFT digital works.
