Park Hyatt Busan [Hotel Review]

I am back with another hotel review, and this time around in Marine City. Marine City is definitely one of my favorite places. It’s a busy area and there’s so much to do in this beautiful location. So let’s get started.

What is Park Hyatt Busan Like?

Park Hyatt Busan is one and only 5-star hotels located in Marine City, with 269 rooms and 69 suites.

Its location is slightly out of the way from Haeundae Beach. But depending on your preference, you may enjoy staying at Park Hyatt Busan more than the other hotels on the beach, because of too many tourists there.

Marine City is a rather residential area, so there are tons of stores, cafes and restaurants to walk to.

The check in time is at 3 pm and the check-out is at 11 am. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The floor to ceiling window captures the view of the whole Gwangan Bridge. All the rooms are mostly decorated in light cream and beige with a pop of pale wood. You can never go wrong with this color combination, right?

What are the Rooms Like?

The room I stayed in at Park Hyatt Busan was the Park Family Suite. My first impression of the room was that it was luxurious and spacious. The room was large enough to accommodate two adults and two children. It featured a living room, a master bedroom, a shower room, bathtub and a toilet. We were able to see both the Suyeong Bay Yachting Center and the Centum area at the same time, which was very special.

What About the Hotel Facilities?

This hotel is well-equipped with various facilities and the staff is very friendly.

There is a fitness center that is open 24/7 along with an indoor swimming pool.

There is also a spa where you can get a massage.

I wish I had not fallen asleep during my one-hour massage. I was so relaxed by the time I woke up that I couldn’t even tell if I had a massage or not!

There is also a bakery on the first floor. However, the reception desk is located on the 30th floor, which is a little confusing.

One thing that I didn’t like about the hotel was that the breakfast buffet area was not large enough to accommodate all the guests in the morning. I admit that I stayed in Park Hyatt Busan during one of the busiest times of the year, but I still had to wait way too long to get a table.

What Else Can You do in the Area?

-Yachting

It only takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the Suyeong Bay Yachting Center from Park Hyatt Busan. I recommend booking a private yacht tour that will take you all the way to Gwangalii, passing under the Gwangan Bridge. Whether you enjoy yachting in the middle of the day, or as the sun sets, it will be a fantastic experience.

-Take a stroll

Take a walk by the seaside along Marine City. On Cinema Street, you can find some K-movie related sculptures and posters. The view is just everything.

-Check out Dongbaek Island

It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Dongbaek Island from Park Hyatt Busan. The island has easy hiking paths that will take you all over the beautiful terrane. Some of the more difficult hiking paths will lead you to the statue of Choi Chiwon on the top of Dongbaek Island.

-The flea market in front of Hanhwa Resort, Marine City

The flea market is open every weekend outside of the Hanhwa Resort. This open-air market is always packed with people and unique items.

How Can I Get to Park Hyatt Busan?

Bus No. 307 will take you to 요트경기장/ 경남마리나 아파트 stop (the Yachting Center/ Kyoungnam Marina Apartment stop). Once you get off, you will easily spot the large hotel which is about a five minute walk from the station.

If you take the subway, get off at DongBaek Station and use exit number two. If you walk to Park Hyatt Busan from there, it will take you about 15 minutes. So, my suggestion is to grab a taxi from the station to the hotel.

Conclusion

The room itself was luxurious, spacious and had a breathtaking view.

I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for the best hotel experience in Busan. I paid $850 for the room per night, but the prices fluctuate depending on when you plan your trip.

In the Mood for Makgeolli? Here Are My Recommendations!

Have you ever tried Makgeolli [막걸리]? In case you have never tried or have never heard of it, it is a traditional Korean wine made from rice.

It has a milky white color, is a little sparkly and a little sweet. Words cannot describe it. You must try it!

Wine is best paired with cheese and fruit, but with Makgeolli, the first thing that pops into my head is “Haemul-Pajeon [해물파전],” which is a Korean seafood – green onion pancake. Makgeolli and Pajeon make a great combo. So, if you are in the mood for Makgeolli, here are my recommendations!

  1. Boksoondoga [복순도가] at F1963

Boksoondoga is one of the most well-known Makgeolli breweries in the Busan Kyeongnam Province. When they opened their own restaurant, they used the name of their representative, Makgeolli. Boksoondoga serves traditional Korean fusion food and you can either order a bottle (18,000 won) or a glass of Makgeolli (4,000 won).

Location: First floor at F1963

Hours: 11:00 – 20:00 closed on Monday. On break from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.

2. Mia Jeon [미아전]

Mia Jeon is a relatively small/ cozy wine bar decorated with a vivid orange color. But surprisingly, they brew their own Makgeolli! The bottle comes in two different sizes, one is 375 ml and the other is 750 ml. The price is 32,000 won and 58,000 won respectively. At Mia Jeon, I recommend the Gamjajeon [감자전](potato pancake) over the Pajeon. This place is more suitable for a night-out.

Location: First floor of the Hyperion Apartment Complex, Marine City.

Hours: 5 pm – 12 am (closed on Monday).

3. Haeundae 31cm Haemul Kalguksu [해운대 31cm 해물 칼국수 Seafood Hand-cut Noodle]

This place is located in Gwangalli, but the name features Haeundae, which is a little confusing. It is nothing too fancy, just a good local restaurant. If you visit, make sure you order a bowl of seafood noodle, Kalguksu, Pajeon and Makgeolli. The three of them make a very tasty combo. Their portions can easily feed two to three people, and the prices are super reasonable.

Location: Gwangnam Road 144, Suyeong-gu. Just a five-minute walk from Gwangan Subway Station

Hours: Open from 11:00 am to 10 pm.

4. Solbat jib [솔밭집]

This place is very authentic. You may like it… or you may hate it.

I first came here a long time ago. My first time there felt so odd (in a good way). It was nice to be able to enjoy Pajeon, noodle and Makgeolli in a forest surrounded by trees. It almost felt like the middle of nowhere.

However, I recently went back in order to better recommend this place to my readers, but my family hated it there. Personally, I would still recommend Solbatjib to someone looking for a very different experience.

It is located in the mountains near Busan National University. The restaurant is close to the Art Building of BNU. You could even walk up toward the mountain from the North Gate, which is about a 5-10 minute walk.

Location: Sanseong Road 961-3, Geumjeong-gu

Hours: Open from 10:30 to 8-ish

Places to Go for Bingsu in Busan

Wow! It is hard to believe that August is already here and summer is coming to a close! Just don’t let the summer end before trying Bingsu.

Bingsu is a Korean summer dessert, made from shaved ice, milk and different toppings. The traditional topping used on the dessert is red bean. Red bean means ‘pat’ in Korean, so we call it ‘Patbingsu’.

But now, a variety of toppings are available. That includes mangos, shine musket (green grape), milk tea, tiramisu, and many more! Ever since the Shilla Hotel launched the Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu, people can’t get enough!

Over the summer, the price of Bingsu increased so much that some hotels were charging $100 for a bowl. The attention that the Bingsu prices received made news headlines.

So, let’s see where in Busan you can try good Bingsus and how much it would cost.

Park Hyatt Busan

I recommend you try either Mango Bingu or Watermelon Bingsu. The price of Mango Bingsu is 65,000 won while Watermelon Bingsu is 55,000 won.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the price of Watermelon Bingsu last year was 38,000 won. We are experiencing such crazy inflation, right?!

The Watermelon Bingsu comes with cotton candy as a topping. Previously, the cotton candy was decorated to look like a cloud, but things have changed since then. Am I the only one who prefers the old look?

One bowl of Bingsu at Park Hyatt Busan is supposed to be shared by two people. The view from the Park Hyatt Busan while enjoying Bingsu is always a great experience.

Signiel Hotel Busan

You can order either Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu (78,000 won) or Patbingsu (45,000 won).

The Mango Bingsu at Signiel comes as a slightly smaller portion, but it’s supposed to be enough for two people. It is also served with cream and a piece of cheese cake. From the lounge, you can enjoy the view of Haeundae Beach.

Grand Josun Busan Hotel

Their signature Bingsus includes Apple Mango Bingsu (65,000 won) and Shine Mustcat Bingsu (65,000 won). Last year, the price of their Shine Mustcat Bingsoo was 49,000 won. Prices have only increased since then.

Schedule Haeundae

This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Sea Cloud Hotel right across from the Busan Josun Grand Hotel. They have so many options to choose from, but don’t forget to try their Bingsu. Their signature Bingsus includes Mango Bingsu (47,000 won), Melon Bingsu and Peach Bingsu.

If you are not willing to spend more than $50 on desserts, but looking for classic sweets you should try…..

Mealtop

Mealtop is famous for their signature “Patbingsu.” There had not been a Mealtop for a long time in Busan, so whenever I went to Seoul or Ulsan, I had to stop by Mealtop to try their “Patbingsu.” However, it turns out that we now have one right in front of the Gwangalli Beach! The price of Patbingsu is 10,000 won. If you are lucky, you can even sit at a table that has a nice view of the Gwangan Bridge.

Namcheon Greentea Patbingsu

Located in the Namcheon area, the exotic feel of the surroundings may convince you that you are in South East Asia. The only items they serve are Patbingsu, Red Bean Porridge, Iced Americano and Sikhye drink. Nevertheless, you can add as much or as little of the green tea powder and cinnamon powder as you would like to your Patbingsu. The price of Patbingsu is only 4,000 won! One bowl per person is their policy. Here is their address: Suyeongro 394-28, Suyeonggu District.

Haeundae Old Patbingsu

Locals have loved this place for many years. But this place has been recently relocated here due to the city’s redevelopment plan. Patbingsu and Red Bean Porridge are the only items on the menu here as well and the cost of a bowl is 4,000 won ($4).

Fun Things to Do with the Kids in Busan This Summer

  • Water House at Anati Hilton Busan (아난티 힐튼 부산 워터 하우스)

Summer is not complete without swimming, right?

I don’t know about you, but I prefer swimming in a swimming pool rather than swimming in the ocean. With the kids, that feeling intensifies.

So, if you feel the same way I do, the Anati Hilton Busan is the place for you.

The swimming pool at the 5-star Anati Hilton Busan is located on the outskirts of Busan along the coast and it claims to have one of the best pools in the city. Let me explain why.

First, facility, facility, facility. There are indoor swimming pools as well as outdoor pools. Their indoor swimming pools are decorated with LED screens and a variety of plants, while the outdoor swimming pools feature an infinity view of the ocean! The water temperature is perfect and allows for the kids to spend hours playing. Also, it has everything you would need such as available shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, life jackets, a cafeteria and so much more.

The only thing that you need to bring with you is your bathing suit and a swim cap or hat.

Second, the swimming pool is also open to the public. At this time of year, it is very difficult to book a hotel room and the rooms are often unreasonably priced. This is why Anati Hilton’s Water House attracts many people that are not guests.

Lastly, you can enjoy the Ananti Town after you finish swimming. It has a multipurpose recreational complex filled with shops, a bookstore, cafes & restaurants. If that is not something you are interested in, you could enjoy a nice stroll along the coast.

Entrance fee: 79,000 won for adults, 40,000 won for kids for four hours.

If it is your first time visiting, you can get a 30% discount after you download the app and join their membership program.

  • Seokcheon Gallery at F1963 (F1963 석천홀)

F1963 is an urban cultural complex that was once a wire factory.

It always has something going on! At this time at the Seokcheon Gallery, an exhibition is taking place with the theme of “We also Need a Vacation.”

This is showcasing how kids from different generations spend their summer vacation.

I could definitely see the difference between how I used to spend my summer breaks and how my kids are spending their summer vacation.

There was also a booth where kids could write a ‘그림일기’, (drawing diary, in my rough translation). That used to be homework practice given to kids back in the day.

The exhibition is open from July 30 to September 4, and it is FREE to visitors.

  • Busan Museum (부산 박물관)

You can learn a lot about Korean history by visiting Busan Museum. Plus, you can experience wearing a Korean Hanbok. In order to participate in the program, you need to make a reservation through their website.

There are two different programs offered, one is wearing a regular Hanbok and the other is wearing a royal Hanbok. Wearing a regular Hanbok is through a program open to kids and adults, while wearing a royal Hanbok is only open to adults. Both programs are free.

Making a reservation can be a little bit tricky if you are not fluent in Korean.

My advice is: If you are a non-Korean and have difficulty, seek help from the Busan Global Center.

Just so you know, the Busan Global Center offers a free interpretation service.

All you need to do is download “Life in Busan Application” onto your smart phone.

You can call them any time between 9 am and 9 pm.

Interpreters who speak English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Russian, Uzbek, Mongolian, Burmese, Cambodian, Thai and Tagalog will be available to help you.

My favorite nail salon in Busan

My favorite nail salon in Busan: The Beauty

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of getting manicures. I have had them done in the past, but I never feel comfortable with my nails done.

However, I do get a pedicure every summer.

Normally, I get my toes done at the beginning of May, then I get them touched up every four weeks. So, I end up getting around three to four pedicures between May and September each year.

There are a lot of nail salons in Busan, but I will introduce you to my favorite place: The Beauty and explain why I go there.

First, they have a variety of colors and designs to choose from. From pops of color to muted tones, they have it all!

Also, they have what is called the “design book” or “art book” that you can look at for inspiration while you wait.

(There are so many different unique designs and I always have trouble choosing just one!)

Second, they are reasonably priced. A sticker attached next to the “design book” can tell you the price of the look. As you can see, there is a sticker attached to design number five and a sticker next to number six. The sticker next to number five is showing you that the design costs 50,000 won and the sticker next to number six is showing that the nail art costs 60,000 won. Very simple. Once you choose your design, you can change the color of the polish without an upcharge.

In the past, when I went to different nail salons, the artists would upcharge on every small request. The price of pedicure started at 55,000 won and would cost extra if I wanted to substitute a color or change the design.

Lastly, it is in a very convenient area. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Century Building at Kyungsung University. It is only a three minute walk from the third exit at the Kyungsung University & Pukyoung National University subway station.

You would need to make an appointment prior to visiting. You can do this through their Instagram DMs. Visit https://www.instagram.com/the_beauty_0899/

Centum Premier Hotel [Hotel Review]

The Centum Premier Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in the middle of Centum City, Haeundae, full of very chic suites. Here’s a detailed review of the Centum Premier Hotel.

Where is Centum Premier Hotel located?

This hotel is in Centum – right across from the Shinsegae Department Store. It’s only a 3-minute walk from the exit 13 at the Centum City subway station.

Trust me, it is an ideal location for business travelers who need to be in the city as much as any tourists.

How was the Hotel Room?

I stayed in the Premier Suite, which was a super spacious two-story accommodation.

The first floor featured a beautiful living room and bathroom.

One thing that I liked about the bathroom was that the toilet and huge bathtub were in two separate areas.

The second floor was where the bedroom was located.

The bed was so comfy and was big enough to allow me to sleep with my kids.

The view of the Suyeong River from the living room was spectacular, both during the day and the night. I could even see the Gwangan Bridge from the corner of the window.

What about the Hotel Facilities?

This hotel was well-equipped with various facilities.

There were two convenience stores, a fitness center that was open 24/7, an indoor swimming pool, and a laundry room.

Although, the swimming pool was a little smaller than I expected, the view from the deck made up for the size.

I don’t know about you, but I always love when hotels offer a laundry facility.

Before I checked out, I washed my clothes in the laundry room, which was very helpful for when I unpacked back at home.

What else can you do in the area?

Centum City is full of things to do and see.

– You can shop at the Shinsegae Department Store. This store was registered in the Guinness World Record Book for being the largest shopping complex in the world. You can spend almost all day in there. In addition to shopping, you can go to the spa, movie theater, ice rink, etc.

– Visit the Busan Museum of Art.

– Check out the Busan Cinema Center. BCC is always packed with excited bikers and skaters as well as movie lovers, especially on the weekends.

– Hop on a fun sightseeing cruise around the Suyeong River and see all the famous landmarks.

– Check out the Bexco to see if there’s any interesting exhibitions happening.

Conclusion

The hotel room itself was comfortable, stylish, and had a lovely view. Plus, the location was just unbeatable.

I would recommend the Centum Premier Hotel’s Premier Suite to anyone looking for a hotel in Busan.

The prices for the rooms do fluctuate depending on when you book your stay, so keep that in mind when you are making your travel plans!

4 of My Favorite HANWOO (Beef BBQ) Restaurants in Busan

There are many types of BBQ restaurants in Busan to choose from, like pork belly to Bulgogi and Korean beef called Hanwoo (한우). In this blog post, I will introduce you to 4 of my favorite Hanwoo restaurants. Not pork belly or Bulgogi. Yes, I said Hanwoo (Korean beef).

1. Geodae Galbi 거대갈비

At least for me, whenever I think of ‘meat’, I picture a dinner meal. I wouldn’t usually choose to eat meat for lunch, but Geodae Galbi has a very good lunch selection starting at 48,000 won.

The price looks a little expensive, but I highly recommend their lunch specials. The lunch menu includes choices of meat and many side dishes. After you finish with your meat, you can choose either rice or Nangmyeon (cold noodle). Kimchi stew or Deonjang stew is also served with the rice.

The unique thing about this place is that each room has a table that the waitress uses to grill the beef right in front of you. I highly recommend checking it out.

There are two Geodae Galbi in the Haeundae area. One is near the Paradise Hotel while the other one is located close to Dalmaji Hill.

2. Daedo Restaurant 대도식당

Among the restaurants I have recommended, this one ‘Daedo’ is the most touristy. It is located on the 2nd floor of ‘The Bay 101’ at the entrance of Dongbaek Island.

If you come here, I recommend you order their 등심 (sirloin) , and after you finish eating your meat portion, have ‘깍두기 볶음밥’ or ‘된장죽’. That’s a good way to wrap up your meal.

3. Woobong 우봉

Woobong is located on the 2nd floor of the Hyperion Apartment complex in Marine City, Haeundae. The price here starts at 30,000 won for 등심 (sirloin) and their side dishes are free.

The meat served is always fresh and tender, only the highest quality for their costumers. This restaurant looks neither touristy nor fancy, but attracts many of the locals.

If you have a child, they offer some extra banchans (side-dishes), including a fried egg.

After you finish your meal, they will offer you a glass of Shihye drink.

4. Gawon 가원

Gawon is located right next to the sea and has a large lawn garden, perfect for photo opportunities.

It turns out that this place won awards for it’s exterior design work in 2011!

When I visited, the waitress cooked our meat for us at the beginning of our meal, but later, we had to grill the meat by ourselves, which was a little disappointing.

After you finish your meal, you can hop over to the café right next to the restaurant.

The only downside to this place is that it’s a little difficult to locate via public transportation.

Side note: Hanwoo’s price is a little high, but so worth it!

In Korea, we do not have a tipping culture so there is no need to tip your waitress.

With that being said, it isn’t against restaurant policy to tip your server so if you want to, please don’t hesitate to do so!

Top 4 Best Beaches in Busan

Okay, I am not going to lie when I tell you that Busan doesn’t rank the highest when it comes to the most beautiful cities in the world. However, Busan is still one of the most visited cities in South Korea, being a host to a wide range of tourist attractions with one of the most popular options being a trip to the beaches.

There are seven beautiful beaches across Busan: Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach, Songjeong Beach, Songdo Beach, Dadaepo Beach, Ilgwang Beach and Imrang Beach.

In this post, I will take you with me to 4 of my favorite Busan’s beaches so that you can find one that suits you best for your next visit.

So, here they are.

1. Haeundae Beach 해운대 해수욕장

Haeundae Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Korea, attracting numerous visitors every summer. Would you believe me if I say over 10 million visitors come to Haeundae each summer?

There are many five-star oceanfront hotels in Haeundae.

The main beach area is in front of the Grand Josun Hotel and Paradise Hotel. This is a popular spot for swimmers and sunbathers.

The southern side of the beach in front of the Josun Beach Hotel is a perfect spot for picnic.

Guess what. You can even order food on the sand and have it delivered to you.

Many festivals and events take place in Haeundae throughout the year, including the Polar Bear Swim Festival, Sand Festival, Haeundae Light Festival, Holi Festival and many more.

If you want a little more than just sea and sand, you can check out Dongbaek Island, home to one of Busan’s best coastal walking paths. While on this 40 minute walk, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views of Marine City and Gwangan Bridge.

Other activities in Haeundae include yachting and eating at the many cafes and restaurants nearby.

How to get there: Take the subway line 2, and get off at Haeundae Station. Use exit 3/5. From there the beach is a 5 minute walk away.

2. Gwangalli Beach 광안리 해수욕장

In addition to Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach is also one of Busan’s most famous beaches.

Opinions are divided on which one is better, but I am not going to choose one over the other.

It could be just me, but Gwangalli feels younger. Being closer to the city, Gwangalli Beach is great for couples.

You won’t get bored here; there are plenty of attractions to keep you busy the whole day.

There are delicious places to eat, from cafes, hipster pubs to fine dining restaurants with priceless views.

People-watching here is always fun, because Gwangalli remains packed with locals, tourists and backpackers.

The view of Gwangan Bridge is fabulous and the Drone Light Show is something that you don’t want to miss.

If you want a little exercise out of the water, you can even ride a jet ski!

How to get there: Take the subway line 2 and get off at Gwangan Station. Use the exit 3 or 5. Then a quick 5 minute walk from the station.

3. Dadaepo Beach 다대포 해수욕장

Daedaepo Beach is a relatively quiet beach, but it turns out that Dadaepo Beach was the most googled beach this summer (2022), because of the movie, Broker, in which one of the lead actors won the Best Actor Award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Dadaepo Beach’s beautiful sunset that was depicted in the movie attracted many eager fans to the sand.

K-drama Kingdom was also filmed at Dadaepo.

Another reason why Dadaepo Beach is so well-known for its sunset is because it’s one of very few west-facing beaches in Busan.

You can also see many airplanes taking off and landing nearby due to the Gimhae International Airport being right around the corner.

How to get there: Take the subway line 1 and get off at Dadaepo Beach Station. Use the exit 1 or 4. Then just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach from there

4. Songjeong Beach 송정 해수욕장

If you are looking for a relatively quiet beach experience near Haeundae, head to Songjeong, one of the most beautiful beaches north of Busan.

Here, you can learn how to surf year-round at some surfing schools near shore.

Songjeong Beach is good for beginner surfers, especially, because swells are usually consistent.

How to get there: Use bus 139, 182, 200, 38, 39, 40, 63, 1001, 1003, or 1011 and get off at Songjeong Stop.

A Day at the Busan International Motor Show 2022

[Spoiler Alert!]

The Busan International Motor Show 2022 kicked off last Friday (July 15) after the four-year hiatus due to COVID.

I attended the show on its opening day. In this blog post, I will take you with me to the show.

What is the Busan International Motor Show?

South Korea has two major auto shows – the Seoul Mobility Show and the Busan International Motor Show.

They are held biannually with the Seoul Mobility Show held every odd year and the Busan International Motor Show held during the even years.

The 2020 Busan’s event had been cancelled amid the pandemic, and it had been four years since the last Busan Show took place in 2018.

What are the highlights of the Busan Motor Show 2022?

Electric Vehicles

Despite the anticipation, the scale of the exhibition had been downsized drastically.

Only six automakers attended the show, including Hyundai Motor, Kia, Genesis, BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce.

Among them, Hyundai Motors and Kia had the biggest exhibit compared to the other motor companies.

Hyundai Motors unveiled the IONIQ 6, Hyundai’s first sedan electric vehicle.

It’s expected to be released in September of this year.

In addition to the IONIQ 6, Hyundai Motors also introduced the large electric sports utility vehicle (SUM), called ‘Seven’.

Kia also showcased its concept car ‘Seltos’ for the first time in Korea.

BMW’s electric sedan, i7 made its debut, too.

For the first time ever, SK Telecom attended the Busan Motor Show to showcase its Urban Air Mobility (UAM). Visitors could experience an air taxi augmented reality.

Classic Cars

Vintage cars were also on display in booths.

Car show models

Although using models to pose next to cars at Motor Shows has been controversial in other areas, they are still stable in Korea. Just look how enthusiastic their fans are to take a picture of them.  Still, the show had noticeably fewer female booth models.

Are there any kid friendly facilities?

A kids playground was set up at the Kia booth featuring a Kia and Café Knotted collaboration.

There was also a zone where kids could play with dry ice bubbles.
